The Douglas County Kansas Sheriff's Office has partnered with Kansas Vine to provide residents enhanced Inmate Custody Status notification alerts.

The Kansas VINE system is a service through which victims of crime can use the telephone or Internet to search for information regarding the custody status of their offender and to register to receive telephone and email notification when the offender’s custody status changes. The VINE toll-free number for the Kansas VINE system is (866) 574-8463. This service is provided to assist victims of crime who have a right to know about their offender's custody status.

Click KANSAS VINE or the logo at the right to begin. More information can be found HERE.

Please note that inmates housed at facilities other than Douglas County may appear multiple times in the VINE system. While you can request notification for each facility, it is not necessary.
