Concealed Carry Registration

Effective January 22, 2024, Concealed Carry handgun registration will be done by appointment (except county holidays): Every Monday, from 7AM – 10AM at the Douglas County Correctional Facility.

Those wishing to register must do so in person, no information will be taken over the phone.

Applications are available from the Kansas Attorney General’s website using the button below.

Before submitting your application, you are required to complete the 8 hour concealed carry course taught by a state approved instructor.  You must bring your course completion certificate and completed application with you.

Required fingerprint card will be done at time of application.
