Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events Class Enrollment

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is offering a Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events course to members of the community. This free course covers a history of active shooter events, current trends and actions people can take to focus on survival and what to expect from a law enforcement response to an active shooter.

Each class will be at Consolidated Fire District 1, Station 111, 300 W. 31st St., in Lawrence, which is near 31^st & Louisiana streets and near Broken Arrow Park
